A row of Alpine Choughs looking disconsolate and hoping for some food in the cold, damp and snowy conditions at Gornergrat. The cog railway to Zermatt which was completed in the late 19th century is an engineering marvel travelling a vertical height of more than 1,400 metres in about one hour.
