Black-necked Grebe

Black-necked Grebe

Black-necked Grebe is a species more commonly seen in the winter at Dungeness. This unusually early bird spent several hours diving for food right in front of the Makepeace Hide. I took far too many photos in order to try to get good lighting on the bird coupled with a glint of sunlight in the eye.
