Blue-winged Kookaburra

It had taken most of the previous two days to get to Papua New Guinea. I selected a route from London via Singapore and Brisbane and arrived in Port Moresby on schedule. Having spent some time getting my visa in London, I was disappointed to find that the queue through immigration for people with visas was much slower than those without. Port Moresby is considered to be a very dangerous place for the visitor so it makes sense to be met at the airport by staff and transport from the hotel. It is certainly not advisable to wander around on your own.
