This is a difficult to see endemic South African species found in montane forested areas. It is more likely to be heard calling from within a bush but we were lucky enough that this bird showed itself well. I was able to get a close photo therefore albeit taken against strong background sunlight. It has recently been placed in the Sylviid Babbler family by IOC having been in the Bulbul family previously.
