Crimson Rosella

Crimson Rosella

The extremely beautiful and reasonably common Crimson Rosellas were very difficult to photograph. They were wary and usually hidden behind branches in the forest canopy. Most of this bird was in good sunlight which showed its colours well so despite not having the whole bird visible, I thought that the photo was worth inclusion here.
