Eastern Grey Kangaroo

This particular morning, the Kangaroos were not agitated by our presence and continued to feed on the grassy bank next to the house. It gave me a wonderful opportunity to take a series of photographs of the female with a joey in the pouch. I had not realised before that when the mother put her head down to feed, the baby is able to reach down from the pouch and eat at the same time.
