European Green Woodpecker adult male

The yaffle call of Green Woodpeckers is often heard in Kelsey Park. The birds themselves are less easy to see and surprisingly difficult to photograph for such a large bird. This photo of a very wet bird was taken in my front drive in pouring rain.
