This Swiftlet was roosting in a dark corner under the roof of the National Park Visitor Centre. Glossy Swiftlet is a very common species across the whole of Borneo. Bornean Swiftlet, a recently split and rare species, can also be found in the area. It is very difficult to separate from Glossy Swiftlet and apparently has a green rather than a bluish gloss to the feathers. I have decided to take the safe approach and label this as the abundant Glossy Swiftlet.
