Island Imperial Pigeon

Island Imperial Pigeon

Whilst other members of the group went snorkelling, I took the opportunity to explore the rocky interior of the island. This tiny island is uninhabited, very steep sided and completely covered in forest. My intention was to photograph the amazing Nicobar Pigeons which we were able to see flying around the island from our boat. Unfortunately, every time I came close to one, it flew away and I had to settle for the somewhat less amazing Island Imperial Pigeon.
