Long-tailed Widowbird adult male

It was wonderful to arrive in Johannesburg after a gap of thirteen years. We soon left the sprawling metropolis behind us and within an hour or so had arrived at the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve. The male Long-tailed Widowbirds were in full breeding plumage and looking rather ungainly trying to maintain level flight, their long tails streaming behind them. I tried several shots and was lucky enough to get this reasonably in focus flight shot.
