The vision in my left eye had been deteriorating over the past few days and this morning, I awoke to discover that I could see nothing at all through this eye. I had taken all my photos with my left eye for the past fifty years so I spent some time seeing if I would be able to use my right eye for this purpose. There were several Miombo Double-collared Sunbirds, both males and females, feeding in the gardens. I was quite pleased with the results and as a result, I have probably added too many of this species into the database.
