It didn’t take long for us to discover that although Papua New Guinea has a huge number of bird species, they are very difficult to see. They tend to stay back from the road and hide deep in the forest. The Pacific Bazas were at least in the open although distant and I was luck enough to get this flight shot of one of the pair.
