Restorf Island

Restorf Island

Having still heard nothing about the details of the change to my flights home, I set the resort manager the task of finding out the new schedule while I joined the rest of the party on a boat trip to Malu Malu and Restorf, two offshore islands. I have never been much of a sailor and would say that boats and me are not compatible but this boat was less compatible than usual being a speed boat on what I considered to be a choppy sea.  Apparently, on a choppy sea, it is necessary to take the boat faster than on a less choppy sea, something I didn’t quite understand at the time and still don’t. Anyway, the small  island of Restorf clearly goes under the heading of tropical paradise as you can see from the beautiful beach, crystal clear water and view across to New Britain.
