In the early evening, we visited another grassland area where there had been extensive burning, something that is common in Zambia. This area was highly productive and we spent a couple of hours identifying longclaws, pipits and larks. Rosy-throated Longclaw was a highlight which was the last of three target longclaw species that we wanted to see.
