Speckled Mousebird

Speckled Mousebird is the most widespread and common species of this endemic African family. We found a party of these birds feeding in leafy bushes in a cultivated area of Kigali. This bird was facing the warm evening sun and it has been suggested that this aids digestion of the leaves.
