Yellow-billed Kingfishers could be heard regularly from the main road at Brown River but could not be seen. We decided therefore to set off on a track through the forest to try and find one that was calling. Our guide finally found the area where the bird was calling and we ventured deeper into the forest to find this delightful little bird perched high up in a tree with a line of sight for telescopes and cameras.
