Lion

Lion

After a short stop for lunch, we set off in a northerly direction on a dry and dusty road. Our guide slowed the vehicle in order that we could watch a pair of lions cross the road in front of the vehicle and disappear into the long grass. We drove slowly up the road and stopped exactly alongside the place where the Lion had settled. I wound the window down and positioned my camera with very slow movements. I found myself looking straight into the eyes of the Lion who thankfully didn’t seem to be too concerned by this invasion of his privacy.
