Tawny Frogmouth

We were both looking forward to a long day’s bird watching around Deniliquin. Early in the morning, we set off for some forest birding but it wasn’t long before my wife suffered a freak accident having trod on a sharp stick which punctured a vein in her left leg. This gave us a chance to visit the Deniliquin Accident and Emergency Department after which she was told to rest for several days and therefore missed some of the highlights such as this Tawny Frogmouth.
