Grimwood’s Longclaw

After an hour’s drive from Cassin’s camp. we reached the Chitunta Plain Important Bird Area (IBA). The grassland habitat is a mixture of dambo, flood plain and dry plain. Grimwood’s Longclaw is a very special bird of this IBA and having donned wellington boots in order to search the wettest areas, we were privileged to see and photograph one.
