Blue-breasted Bee-eater

Blue-breasted Bee-eater

The blue breast of this bird is more obvious than in many photos. This species is more commonly known as White-cheeked Bee-eater in Zambia, perhaps a more suitable name as the white cheek which is visible in this image is the best way of separating it from other similar looking bee-eaters such as Little.
