Coal Tit

Coal Tit

Coal Tit is a diminutive species which spends much of its time at the top of coniferous trees. It was a privilege therefore to be able to see and photograph a Coal Tit at eye level from a distance of around two metres. I have tried to get a good image of this species on many occasions but without much success. I am pleased with this photo which I think has captured the adventurous spirit of this little bird whilst retaining an awareness of its surroundings.
