The birds at the feeders were incredibly tame and several visitors photographed them at a distance of a metre. I prefer to photograph birds a little away from feeders in order to try and give a more natural look. This Coal Tit along with many other birds used a fence as a staging post while waiting to get to the top of the pecking order.
