Common Blackbird adult female

Common Blackbird was seen regularly in the local parks in the town of Zermatt itself. This Common Blackbird, an adult female, was feeding voraciously on a plentiful supply of red berries which were much brighter in colour than suggested by this photo. It was the only member of the Thrush family which we saw in the Zermatt area.
