Song Thrush

Song Thrush

Most years, a Song Thrush sings in our garden throughout March but then disappears for the rest of the year. This year, a pair of Song Thrush has visited throughout April and is presumably breeding in our garden or an adjacent garden. The birds visit to bathe in and drink from the bird bath every day and forage in the undergrowth.

This bird was photographed through the kitchen window in the impending gloom at 1/500th second, f5.6 and ISO 5,000.
