In addition to the hundreds of Black-headed Gulls, there were a few young large gulls on Lake Geneva. They are difficult to identify but I believe this is a first approaching second winter Yellow-legged Gull based on the pale head with a distinct eye patch and the pattern on the tip of the tertials. Any comments on this ID would be most welcome.
