Woodlark

Woodlark

I observed a group of Goldfinches and Woodlarks sitting on a sandy patch of the track ahead. By lying flat on the ground and shuffling forward, I was able to get quite close to the birds. The Goldfinches had already flown but the Woodlarks were happy to let me photograph them at close range.
