Eurasian Crag Martin

Eurasian Crag Martin

To determine if I was still able to walk to moderate heights without the use of cable cars, I set off to try and find more Golden Eagles. My camera was still in my bag (a big mistake) when one flew low directly over the track. At higher altitude, I spent an hour studying a pair of Golden Eagles flying at about 3,000 metres above sea level in the mountains. The birds were far too distant to display the resultant images here. Somewhat closer was a large flock of Eurasian Crag Martin and I watched these birds for over an hour wondering how to photograph such a fast flying species.
