Water Pipit non-breeding plumage

Some twenty five or thirty years ago, I remember finding a group of Pipits in a damp grassy area above Zermatt but was unable to identify them at the time. It was exciting to discover Pipits at Schwarzsee therefore and I sat close to a small muddy pond and waited for a bird to come and drink. This bird was a Water Pipit in non-breeding plumage and I was able to photograph it at reasonably close range.
