Cranesbill
We have had difficulties identifying this flower which we first thought was a form of Mallow. Further investigation using ‘The Wild Flowers of Britain and Northern Europe‘ (1974 Fitter, Fitter and Blamey) indicates that it may be a form of Cranesbill of the Geranium family Geraniaceae.
