Asian Koel is a common bird throughout its range from India to Thailand and Singapore. There were several pairs active in the park this morning. The males were calling and very visible but I only saw a single female of this species. These 2 male birds appeared to be confronting each other.
See Suan Rot Fai for further details of this good birding and general wildlife location. It is a hidden gem close to the chaos and confusion of Chatuchak Market.
