Red-necked Spurfowl

After an early breakfast at Musekese and having said goodbye to our hosts and an English family who were on holiday in Zambia and returning home today, we had a very fast boat trip back along the Kafue River to load up our vehicle for the long journey ahead. Very soon, we stopped to look at a party of spurfowl which came very close and were photogenic in the early morning light.
