Red-collared Babbler is an endemic resident of the Albertine Rift found only in high altitude primary forest in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and south west Rwanda. Nyungwe is probably the best place to see this bird therefore. For several days, we heard the birds and had fleeting glimpses but not a good view.
