Common Cuckoo adult

The weather was wet and windy when a pair of Cuckoos flew across our path and perched in a nearby tree. Cuckoo is a much easier bird to hear than see in the UK and this was my first opportunity to photograph one. The wind was so strong that it was almost impossible to hold the camera still so focusing was a major problem. I am hoping for an improved photo of this species at a future time.
