Barn Owl

Barn Owl is an attractive and popular species to photograph. On this particular occasion, I had visited RSPB Lakenheath to photograph birds, especially Hobbies flying along the river in good light. Unfortunately, there were no Hobbies and the light was receding but my mood improved when I saw this Barn Owl flying towards me across the marshes. I was treated to excellent views for ten minutes as the Barn Owl hunted along the river edges close to where I was positioned. Many thanks to my professional photographer friend in Kenya for removing the noise from this photo and producing a much better final image of the Barn Owl.
