Blue-throated Rollers

Rollers are colourful birds with several species in Africa. Blue-throated Rollers can be found in forested areas and are usually high up in trees so it was wonderful to be able to see a pair at eye level. They were somewhat distant and darkness was falling but I feel the photo is worth adding as it shows their amazing colours, bill shape and slightly comical appearance.
