Bohemian Waxwing

I was taking a short afternoon walk from my daughter’s house along a cycle track (once a railway track) near the centre of York. I heard a flock of birds calling in a tree and looked up to see a party of Waxwings feeding presumably before moving northwards. I watched them for at least half an hour and this was definitely one of my birding highlights in the UK.
