Bohm’s Bee-eater

In a damp area of broad leaf woodland, a small number of Bohm’s Bee-eaters were feeding and allowed us to approach sufficiently close to take good photos. This species has a narrow range in east central Africa and Zambia is one of the best countries to see this beautiful bird. It is not a commonly photographed species.
