Brown Goshawk

A first cousin of my wife lives in farmland north of Bendigo and we spent the last few days of our trip in this area. During a walk around his place on the first afternoon, I heard the familiar ki-ki-ki call of a raptor and eventually saw this Brown Goshawk high up in a Eucalyptus tree. It spent most of its time calling and moving between trees. This action photo was taken as it came into land on one of its favourite perches.
