Common Stonechat

Common Stonechat

Several Common Stonechat were seen on the marshes perched on grasses and other plants. The plants were waving in the breeze and this made focusing on such a small bird very difficult. This is an adult female Common Stonechat in non-breeding plumage standing on a thistle.
