Eurasian Nuthatch

A pair of Nuthatches again nested in the London Plane tree near the shelter overlooking the main lake in 2015. Many visitors to the Park know the nest hole and spend time watching the adult birds bringing food to the chicks. This bird is leaving the nest and was photographed from the side in order to take advantage of the sunlight.
