After dark, we watched many Nightjars hunting over the grasslands. It was a wonderful spectacle and one landed right in front of our vehicle. This was a good opportunity for a photograph with the bird illuminated in the spotlight. We identified it from the photograph as Rufous-cheeked by the orange (not rufous?) collar with white throat patch and a white mark on the side of the face.
