Flavescent Bulbul Pycnonotus flavescens was seen on 5 separate days of our tour and was one of the more common bulbul species. This was one of our first sightings on the road near the top of the Kaeng Krachan National Park.

Flavescent Bulbul is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. Its name comes from flavescent, a yellowish colour. It is found in Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. The natural habitat of the Flavescent Bulbul is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
