Fülleborn’s Longclaw adult

Fülleborn’s Longclaw adult

After a good night’s rest following four days on the road, we were out at dawn to investigate Cassin’s camp, tented accommodation owned by our guide. Cassin’s is very well situated on the bend of a river and close to some great birding areas in Mwinilunga. One of the highlights is the opportunity to see three species of Longclaw. An afternoon trip to the dambo marsh grasslands soon brought us close to Fülleborn’s Longclaw, a species endemic to south central Africa.
