Grass Snake
At least two Grass Snakes Natrix natrix spent several hours in the pond at Riverside Country Park searching for prey. I was pleased to be able to get the flicking tongue in the picture and in focus. Camera settings: ISO 800; f5.6; focal length 400mm: 1/640 second.
