In order to get a decent shot at eye level, one sometimes needs to get into unnatural positions as was the case here. I was lying face down on a wall above a stream in my local park on a Sunday morning when a dog discovered me and alerted its owner. I think she wondered what I was doing and quickly walked off. I held my ground until the bird appeared for the photo opportunity. Later, I caught up with the dog owner and showed her the photograph whilst explaining that I was trying to produce a photographic guide to all the birds in the Park.
