Hooded Vulture

Following an early return to Shoebill Lodge after the boat trip was abandoned, we booked a safari vehicle and studied some birds overhead while we waited for the vehicle to arrive. Vultures appear to be in serious decline across Africa and although Hooded Vulture can be seen around human habitation, even its numbers are reducing.
