We set off down the bumpy runway at Multinondo in the early morning and took off towards the inselbergs. After several alarming manœuvres through the rocky outcrops, we passed over the lodge, waved goodbye to our hosts and set a course for the Bangweulu Swamps landing on a smoother runway just forty minutes later.
