Kingfisher

A second sighting of a Kingfisher in a week in Kelsey Park, Beckenham was the undoubted highlight of a cold sunny day in the Park. This Kingfisher is an adult female and therefore a different bird to the one photographed previously. It was in a similar position alongside the lower lake and visible only from the Information Centre side. By moving slowly and quietly along the spit of land on that side of the lake, I was able to get a position behind a tree where I was able to spend 15 minutes photographing the Kingfisher without frightening it.
