Lesser Black-backed Gull adult

Having moved from Bristol over fifty years ago, it is interesting to see how the docks have been transformed in recent times. What was once a thriving port with cargo boats is now an area with houses, offices and restaurants. The gulls seem to like it however and there are many breeding pairs of Herring and Lesser Black-backed Gulls with young at this time of year.
