Lesser Shortwing

An afternoon walk in dense rainforest took us down a steep, muddy and slippery track. In a very dark part of the forest, this normally skulking species, Lesser Shortwing, delighted us by posing on a log in full view of the whole group. I photographed the Lesser Shortwing without using a flash at ISO 6400. The image has required subsequent noise reduction using specialist software.
